The 17mm bristles are soft enough that they just glide across the nail, and I finally got clean thin lines without my hand shaking. Definitely a learning curve at first, but once I stopped pressing down so hard the curves came out smooth.
I've never been able to get my lines this crisp, and the soft synthetic bristles basically glide the polish on for you. The 17mm length makes long curves feel almost effortless. My only tip is to wipe the brush well first, or it floods a bit.
