I was skeptical a medium grit would cut fast enough for soak-offs, but this thing chews through acrylic in half the time my old bit took. The carbide teeth still feel sharp after a month of weekly use, and cleanup between clients is way quicker now.
Backfills used to eat up my whole afternoon until I switched to this medium carbide bit, and now the old acrylic just flies off in a fraction of the time. The texture feels aggressive but still controllable, so I'm not gouging the natural nail. Soak off is noticeably quicker too.
It removes product fast, but the medium texture feels a little too aggressive for my sensitive nail beds. Decent for backfills, though I'd prefer a finer grit for more control.
