The x-cut carbide bit glides along the nail bed without catching, and the smooth top keeps me from nicking cuticles even on tight sidewalls. Contours beautifully with zero chatter, so my finishes stay clean and groove-free.
The smooth top really does protect my cuticles—I used to nick them all the time with other bits. This one glides along the nail leaving zero grooves, and the x-cut works fast. Exactly what I needed for my e-file.
The x-cut design cuts through acrylic fast without grabbing the nail underneath. I do wish the top were just a touch smoother when I'm working near the cuticle line, but it hasn't nicked me once.
