I do my own gel manis at home and the 100 grit side is perfect for lightly buffing the nail before base coat. The 80 grit side also smooths out ridges fast without shredding my nails.
Ten blocks in one pack is way more than I expected, and the 80 grit side files down edges fast while the 100 side smooths everything out nicely. I've done about six manicures with one block and it's still holding up.
These are solid little buffers for the price — the 80/100 grit combo covers both shaping and smoothing without switching tools. Just wish the foam was a touch denser, but for a 10-pack they get the job done.
