I was a little nervous about going too deep under the nail, but this bit is surprisingly gentle and cleans out the tight sidewalls without nicking me once. The shank shape lets me angle in close on the underside, which I could never do with my old bit.
The shank shape actually gets right into that tight spot under the free edge where my regular bits couldn't reach. Cleaning up the underside before a fill used to eat so much time, and now it's quick and the cuticle area looks way neater.
I was skeptical about a dedicated under-nail bit, but this one glides in smoothly and doesn't snag. Finally no more struggling to clean the tricky underside area.
